Senior Medical Strategy Lead, Clinical Development - Pulmonologist (m/w/d)
IQVIA seeks a Senior Medical Strategy Lead with pulmonology expertise to provide strategic medical guidance across clinical development initiatives. The role involves independent proposal development, client engagement, and leadership throughout the research and development lifecycle across multiple European locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic proposals independently in collaboration with proposal development team members
- Lead client proposal bid defense meetings as medical director and subject matter expert
- Serve as consultant throughout research and development lifecycle and clinical trial duration
- Formulate clinical development plans and execute center of excellence strategy
- Participate in early customer engagement and thought leadership activities
Requirements
- MD with pulmonology training and board certification
- Minimum 10 years relevant clinical or pharmaceutical experience
- At least 5 years in pharmaceutical industry or CRO setting
- Senior strategic leadership role experience in pulmonology
- Exceptional business acumen and industry expertise
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally at least 20% of the time
