Strategic Valuation & Modeling - Senior Analysts - Manager

We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Strategic Valuation & Modeling team in Munich or Frankfurt as a Senior or Manager.

In this role, you will work with experts in the field of valuations, transformation, restructurings and transaction services, but will mainly focus on:

• Performing and reviewing complex valuation models;

• You value companies, intangible and tangible assets as well as strategic alternatives in connection with tax, transactional and accounting matters.

• You provide support with fairness opinions to assess the appropriateness of transaction prices and structure

• Identifying and understanding the key business drivers and provide value to the client through our services and the deliverables we produce;

• Managing the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the different stakeholders; and

• Steering and providing guidance to more junior team members

To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect our future Senior or Manager to have :

• A Master’s degree in economics, engineering, business administration, or business economics

• Financial analytical skills and good accounting knowledge are considered as a prerequisite as well as giving meaning to the numbers and translate this into a well-structured report

• Between two to four year’s relevant professional experience in valuations, corporate finance investment banking or corporate development/strategy

• An entrepreneurial mindset and a hunger to be exposed to challenging projects

• A drive to solve new issues in a practical and creative manner

• Fluent in MS Office (especially with Excel and PowerPoint)

• Prior experience in developing and managing more junior professionals is preferred

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a great team player

• Fluency in German or English

• Eagerness to work on cross border assignments
