The Office for Information and Communication Technology operates the central municipal communications infrastructure (data centers, data network) for the City of Frankfurt am Main, providing a wide range of central services (e.g., email services, web hosting, internet gateway) as well as city-wide services (e.g., collaboration platforms, website, document management system). Through the continuous expansion of the City of Frankfurt am Main's online services, it makes a significant contribution to the digitalization of the administration. Business Analysts specializing in AI (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities include:

• Development and implementation of city-wide AI solutions for process optimization, digitization and automation of administrative processes in collaboration with specialist departments.
• Identification, evaluation and prioritization of specific AI use cases (e.g. conversation- and document-based AI, knowledge-based AI, etc.)
• Collection and description of technical/functional requirements, including the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications.
• Market analyses, proofs of concept/feasibility studies and creation of business cases including stakeholder coordination
• Preparation of tender and decision-making templates
• Support during implementation, creation of guidelines
• Participation in the establishment and further development of the AI ​​competence team as well as the development of the city-wide IT strategy with a focus on AI.
• Contribution to data/model roadmaps and governance (bias, fairness, transparency, AI ethics, monitoring, versioning)
• Further development of standards in requirements management, e.g., further development of the toolkit for planning, eliciting, and documenting requirements.

They bring with them:

• Completed university degree (Bachelor's) in computer science, administrative informatics, business informatics or a comparable field of study
• Relevant, proven professional experience of several years as a Business/IT Analyst or Product Owner; experience in the public sector is desirable.
• Practical experience with AI/ML (models, data quality, evaluation metrics)
• Experience in requirements modeling (user stories, BPMN, process analysis)
• Extensive practical experience in stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills
• Ideally, initial experience with regulatory requirements (GDPR, EU AI Regulation, IT security)
• Experience with ML tools, software architectures, MLOps, XAI, and data engineering is desirable.
• Certifications (CBAP, IREB, Scrum PO) are desirable
