Facility Engineer, Critical Infrastructure (f/m/d)

Your RoleAs a Facility Engineer working on one of our Data Center Sites based in Frankfurt (all sites), you will provide engineering support for monitoring, planned servicing and corrective maintenance on a range of critical data center infrastructure and associated equipment. You will manage routine plant inspections, act as a first-line response and ensure that all work is done in line with relevant regulations and our own processes and procedures. Conduct vendor management and act to maximize uptime/SLA (Service Level Agreement) and improve PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness). Within this function, you are acting with external and internal stakeholders such as Service Planning, Security, 3rd party suppliers and our customers. Your ProfileExperienced in the electrotechnical field, ideally authorized to manage electrical switch operationsMinimum 1-2 years practical experience in an electro technical environmentFollowing technical skills are highly preferred:Operation and maintenance of large scale electrotechnical systemsOperation and maintenance of mechanical systemsMaintenance of fire detection and suppression systemsMaintenance of conveyor technique (elevators)Following soft skills are relevant for the role:Self-management, ability to manage multiple tasks, pro-activeStress resilience, ability to prioritizeAbility to evaluate risk and solve complex problemsTeamwork & Interpersonal skillsFluent English and GermanA bit about usDigital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
