AI & GenAI Specialist / Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven image & text processing models for our new product line
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, data scientists, and business leads) to integrate AI solutions into existing platforms
• Lead the implementation of Generative AI techniques to enhance automation, NLP, and machine learning tasks within the product
• Research and stay current with the latest AI/GenAI advancements to continuously improve product features
• Optimize existing algorithms for better performance and scalability
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in structured and unstructured data related to logistics and supply chain operations

Your profile

• Passion for rail freight, logistics, and digitalization
• Proven experience (3+ years) in AI and GenAI project development, with a focus on NLP and text processing
• Strong proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), computer vision (e.g. OpenCV, Keras) and NLP tools (e.g., spaCy, Hugging Face)
• Solid understanding of deep learning models, particularly in the context of text generation, computer vision, sentiment analysis, and data extraction
• Experience deploying AI models in production environments
• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions
• Experience in the logistics industry or working on AI projects related to supply chain/logistics is highly desirable
• Fluent in German and English, willingness to travel occasionally
