Internship in Financial Markets Sales

Your tasks

Are you ready to get hands-on experience in the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of institutional financial markets? As part of our Interest Rate Derivatives Sales Team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work with top institutional clients across Europe - from leading banks to hedge funds and asset managers.

We handle daily transactions and manage a variety of exciting tasks. As an intern, you’ll play an active role in supporting our processes, developing your skills, and expanding your knowledge of financial markets. You’ll learn about interest rate derivatives, bonds, asset swaps, financial regulations, and much more along the way. Your tasks will be diverse and span the entire value chain of the business: from price inquiries and transaction execution to settlement; analysing customer behaviour and our hit ratios; maintaining client data and independently handling requests related to documentation, research, and interest rate developments.

Your profile

• Pursuing a degree in economics, finance, mathematics, industrial engineering, or a similar field with a strong interest in capital markets
• An analytical personality who is reliable, independent and dynamic in their work
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and possibly programming skills
• Basic knowledge of (interest rates-) derivatives and bonds
• Fluent in German and English, additional European languages are an advantage
