Blockchain Node Operator & Site Reliability Engineer Web3

Your mission

• You will be responsible for maintaining full nodes for various blockchains and finding ways to deploy and manage them more efficiently.
• You understand blockchain-specific monitoring in great depth and you will be helping the team cut down on noise by fine-tuning alerts.
• You will troubleshoot production issues to address technical commitments and boost sustainability, as well as pair with other engineers to troubleshoot, deploy new services, and figure out how to increase developer velocity and eliminate pain points.

Your profile

• Senior-level expertise with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in operations and infrastructure — but still hands-on and close to the systems.
• Strong expertise with Linux command line, shell scripting (especially Bash), and automation of operational workflows.
• Solid background in IT security and operational security (OpSec) ; you understand secure infrastructure design and safe key/credential handling.
• Deep experience with monitoring, log analysis, and alerting tools; you know how to reduce noise and design meaningful dashboards.
• Experience with scripting and configuration management; you write scripts to automate routine tasks and optimize workflows.
• Practical knowledge in some of the following technologies: Terraform, Ansible, Helm Charts, Gitlab (CI/CD optional), and scripting languages such as Python.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation, containerization, bare-metal server management, and cloud computing (with a strong focus on GCP).
• Proficiency in blockchain technologies and applications, including: Chainlink and/or Pyth, Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Lido, SupraOracles.
• Experience actively leveraging AI-driven automation , including agents and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to reduce manual operational overhead and extend system capabilities.

• Experience running blockchain full nodes gives you a considerable advantage; excitement for blockchain, Web 3.0, and decentralized finance.
• Setup and management of Kubernetes clusters and comfort in deploying new services on them.
• Know-how in exporting metrics via Prometheus and building Grafana dashboards.
• Strong desire to grow and challenge yourself.
• Excellent experience with GCP (preferred), AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
• Agility, self-organization, and openness to learning.
• Experience in the financial services and/or capital market domain.
• Result orientation, conceptual and analytical thinking.
• Collaborative by nature; willing to give and receive feedback.
• You enjoy your work, and that shows in your results.
• Very good English skills.
• Ideally located in Central Europe (CET timezone) or within ±2 hours.
