Role description:

For our Project Management Team Technology in the Places Business Unit, we are looking for a dedicated Senior CSA Project Manager (f/m/d) to support data center construction projects.

The position is located within our global Places business unit. Together with our customers around the world, we create, promote, and optimize intelligent, safe, and sustainable places where people live, work, learn, and succeed. Places influence people's quality of life-whether it's housing, shops, workplaces, schools, hospitals, businesses, research and development facilities, or data and distribution centers. People and communities thrive when their living, working, recreational, and play spaces are designed and operated to best meet their needs.

Role accountabilities:

As a Senior CSA Project Manager (f/m/d) , you take on a key role in the development and management of industrial and commercial buildings, particularly in the areas of data centers, BESS, and substations. You are the driving force behind the implementation of customized, sustainable solutions and the support of approval processes. Through close collaboration with clients, authorities, and internal teams, you ensure smooth project execution and contribute significantly to project success.

• Lead project development includes design, planning, and management of industrial and commercial buildings such as data centers, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and substations.
• Advise clients by assessing their needs and developing tailored, future-proof solutions for industrial customers.
• Manage and coordinate all necessary permitting processes, including liaising with authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare conceptual, execution, and detailed plans in compliance with current building regulations and sustainability requirements.
• Oversee project management throughout all phases, focusing on cost control, schedule adherence, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including specialist planners, engineers, contractors, and internal project groups to ensure holistic project delivery.
• Utilize modern planning methods and digital tools such as BIM to optimize processes and enhance planning efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

You are technically skilled, have relevant experience in managing building and infrastructure projects, and bring with you:

• Degree in Architecture (Technical University) with solid qualifications in project development.
• Several years of professional experience in planning and executing industrial or commercial building projects, ideally related to data centers or other high-tech facilities.
• Excellent knowledge of HOAI, VOB, relevant standards, and building regulations.
• Proficient in CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a confident demeanor in dealing with clients and authorities.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of initiative.
• Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
