ResponsibilitiesMange the entire process associated with incoming: Issuance, amendment and cancellation requests for international guaranteesSupport the process associated with incoming: issuance, amendment, document presentation and cancellation requests for import and export letters of creditEnsure that all transactions are conducted in line with internal policies and regulatory guidelinesAct as first point of contact for our customers and discuss with them operational specificities of their requests (e.g. required changes on guarantee texts or discrepancies on LC documents)Fee monitoring / management /debiting (MT499 processing) / preparation of invoices in close dialogue and alignment with back officePrepare internal / external monthly business reports and other relevant reporting / statisticsReporting to GTB Head of Client ServiceClose cooperation with GTB Front Office and support of Senior Trade BankersSupport with execution of Permanent Supervision ControlsProfile requiredExperience and technical skillsUniversity degree in Finance/business administration or related area (bank apprenticeship)Deep knowledge of bank guaranteesBasic knowledge of Letters of Credit3+ years of working in a Trade Finance Department in a BankStrong capacity for teamworkClient-oriented attitude (internally and externally)Profound MS Office skillsFluency in German and English (written and oral) is essential, French is of advantagePersonal Abilities / CompetenciesSolution-oriented, structured and flexible working stylePro-active team-playerStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills, written and verbalAbility to learn and work in a deadline-driven and culturally diverse environmentAbility to escalate in an adequate mannerGood interpersonal skills including ability to establish and maintain good working relationships both internally and externallyWhy join usAt Societe Generale, we are convinced that people are drivers of change, and that the world of tomorrow will be shaped by all their initiatives, from the smallest to the most ambitious.
