Job Description



We are looking for a Project Lead with strong experience in LIMS migration and GxP documentation to support and lead two parallel initiatives within a global life sciences organization. This hybrid role combines full project ownership of a non-GxP system deployment with governance and documentation support for an early-phase GxP LIMS migration initiative.

What You Will Be Doing:

Non-GxP Project Delivery

  • Lead the full project lifecycle from scoping through delivery and closure.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including scope, schedule, budget, status reports, and risk/issue logs.
  • Align regularly with stakeholders on timelines, resource allocation, and financials.
  • Prepare and present governance materials, including funding requests and portfolio updates.
  • Track progress against milestones, proactively addressing risks, issues, and blockers.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to define roles, clarify deliverables, and ensure alignment.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders to drive transparency and confidence.
  • Apply a hybrid project methodology combining waterfall planning with agile practices.

GxP LIMS Migration Support

  • Manage documentation for an early-stage GxP-regulated LIMS migration project.
  • Own deliverables such as project scope, budget plans, resource tracking, and validation (CSV) documentation.
  • Support the preparation of content for steering committee and governance board meetings.
  • Translate complex project information into executive-ready communications and presentations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience delivering LIMS migration projects in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GxP regulations and computer system validation (CSV) documentation.
  • Proven experience leading or supporting IT projects in regulated environments.
  • Skilled in producing high-quality project documentation and governance materials.
  • Effective in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Familiarity with hybrid project delivery (waterfall + agile/scrum methodologies).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
