Regulatory and Product Safety Specialist - Global Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ecological and regulatory approvals within the product development process, ensuring compliance with global chemical regulations
• Prepare, maintain, and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in line with REACH, CLP, GHS, and regional requirements using SAP/EHS
• Classify substances and mixtures according to CLP and GHS, including hazard assessment, labelling, and exposure considerations
• Coordinate and maintain chemical registrations under EU REACH and REACH-like regulations, including KKDIK and other regional frameworks
• Ensure ongoing compliance of existing product portfolios through dossier maintenance, data gap assessments, and regulatory updates
• Provide expert regulatory and product safety advice related to chemical hazards, emissions, workplace safety, and safe use conditions
• Support audits, customer inquiries, and internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance and product stewardship topics
• Contribute to cross-functional projects involving chemical compliance systems, IT tools, and process optimisation

Key Requirements

• Master's degree in chemistry, toxicology, biology, or a related scientific discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product stewardship, or chemical compliance
• Strong practical knowledge of EU REACH, CLP, GHS, and Safety Data Sheet authoring
• Experience with REACH-like regulations such as KKDIK or other global chemical control systems
• Understanding of chemical substance registration, mixture classification, and regulatory lifecycle management
• Hands-on experience with SAP/EHS or similar regulatory data management systems
• Ability to identify regulatory risks, anticipate compliance challenges, and implement pragmatic solutions
• Strong communication skills for working with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders
