(Junior) Growth Manager (f/m/d) App

40.000+ paying subscribers. Germany's biggest health brand on YouTube. The audience is already here. Now we need someone who turns that into a growth engine for our app!

We're profitable, 65 people, and building a subscription app that helps millions manage pain. What's missing is the person who owns acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention. This is the first dedicated growth role on the app. No predecessor, no playbook. Whether you're early in your career or already a few years in, what matters is how you think. You'll build the function from zero, directly with our new App Team. Not based in Frankfurt? No problem. We offer a €2,000 relocation bonus to make the move easy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own the full app growth funnel: from first touch to paying subscriber to active, retained user

• Build a structured experimentation program from scratch (hypotheses, A/B tests, learnings, decisions)

• Define KPIs, tracking, and data infrastructure (GA4, product analytics)

• Develop and optimize paywall, pricing, and trial logic

• Increase activation rates for users who sign up but never really start

• Identify the highest-impact growth levers across the entire user journey

• Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and tech

WHO YOU ARE

• You've had first hands-on experience in growth, product, performance marketing, or subscription/app businesses, through a role, a startup, or a standout project

• You think end to end: not just acquisition, but what happens after the install

• You're analytical, hypothesis-driven, and comfortable making decisions with imperfect data

• Familiar with analytics tools and eager to get deep into them fast

• Curious about subscription models, paywalls, and pricing psychology

• SQL skills is a big bonus

• You use AI tools (Claude, Gemini) as part of how you work and can critically evaluate outputs

• Entrepreneurial mindset: you don't wait for a brief, you write it

• Fluent in German and English
