Senior Sales Specialist

Location: Germany,Offenbach

About the role: The Senior Sales Specialist – Trucks supports the growth of BYD electric truck sales across Germany by developing dealer relationships, identifying fleet opportunities, supporting demonstrations, and coordinating commercial activities with the European headquarters. The role works closely with Regional Sales Managers and cross-functional teams to support customer acquisition, dealer activation and sales execution.

Reports to: Head of E-trucks department

Key Responsibilities:

· Support dealer network development and daily communication with truck dealers in Germany.

· Identify new fleet customers and maintain an active sales pipeline.

· Support vehicle demonstrations, customer visits and regional exhibitions.

· Coordinate commercial activities with Product, Marketing, Aftersales, Homologation and Finance teams.

· Prepare quotations, sales presentations and customer documentation.

· Support tender opportunities and fleet proposals.

· Maintain CRM and provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline reports.

· Assist in achieving regional sales and profitability targets.

Main Duties:

· Visit dealers and fleet customers on a regular basis.

· Generate new sales leads and qualify opportunities.

· Support launch activities, product presentations and test drives.

· Coordinate vehicle availability for demo programs.

· Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

· Prepare weekly activity reports and maintain accurate customer records.

· Support contract preparation, order follow-up and delivery coordination.

· Represent BYD at trade fairs and customer events.

· Comply with company HSE and internal processes.

Requirements & competencies:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field.

· 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, automotive or commercial vehicles preferred.

· Interest in electric trucks and sustainable transportation.

· Fluent English plus German or one Nordic language is highly preferred.

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

· Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

· Willingness to travel up to 50% within Germany and the Nordic region.

· Proactive, customer-focused and able to work in an international environment.
