Investment Analyst Private Credit (f/m/d)

Your mission

Bright Capital is looking to hire an Investment Analyst investment professional for the Frankfurt office. As an Analyst at Bright Capital, you will support senior management through the full lifecycle of an investment, from origination to execution as well as subsequent responsibilities over the active portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in sourcing and originating investments from corporates, sponsors, and intermediaries (debt advisors, corporate finance boutiques, lawyers, etc.)
• Undertake an initial assessment of potential investment opportunities
• Assist in the preparation of investment committee papers and completion of due diligence (buy-side and independent DD, sessions with management/PE sponsor)
• Prepare financial models and scenario analyses
• Monitoring of portfolio investments

Your profile

We are looking for an individual with excellent technical and modelling competencies, an entrepreneurial attitude, and great German market knowledge as well as language skills to join our investment team.

Key skills and experience include:

• Previous experience across leveraged finance, debt advisory, PE or investment banking and similar during your studies
• Recent graduate (Bachelor or Master) of Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Engineering/Mathematics/Informatics, or similar at a top tier university
• Strong Corporate Finance technical skill set
• Ability to build financial models
• Highly commercial with strong business acumen is essential
• Entrepreneurial and self-starting attitude to match our dynamic culture
• Strong communication skills and fluency in German and English
