Business Process Specialist - Finance Transformation / Accounting to Reporting (f/m/d)

Limited until 31.12.2028Your area of work:Group Accounting is responsible for Deutsche Börse Group’s financial reporting under IFRS and HGB and serves as the central competence center for accounting-related matters across the Group. The section defines accounting policies and standards, supports business initiatives with accounting expertise, and ensures high-quality and compliant external financial reporting. In addition, Group Accounting plays a key role in M&A transactions, capital management activities, and major finance transformation initiatives, including SAP migration, integration, and implementation projects across the Group.As a Business Process Specialist Finance Transformation, you will combine your accounting expertise with process improvement and transformation initiatives. You will work closely with Group Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and IT to ensure that accounting requirements are appropriately reflected in future finance processes and systems.In the A2R environment, you will drive the development of core accounting processes from general ledger accounting to asset accounting and Real Estate Finance. A particular focus is on data migrations and the accurate mapping of financial data objects into SAP target architectures.Your responsibilities:Act as the subject matter expert for Accounting-to-Reporting (A2R) processes, including General Ledger, Asset Accounting and Lease Accounting within respective SAP modulesDefine and validate accounting and reporting requirements within finance transformation initiativesContribute to the design and harmonization of accounting processes across Deutsche Börse Group entitiesIdentify process improvements, automation potential and control requirements within the A2R processSupport the migration of financial master and transactional data from an accounting and governance perspectiveDefine business requirements for data migrations across all relevant financial data objectsSupport fit-gap analyses, process design, test concepts and business sign-offWork closely with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, IT and external implementation partnersYour profile:University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldSeveral years of professional experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, General Ledger Accounting, Asset Accounting, or a related finance functionSound knowledge of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processesExperience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, or process improvement initiatives is advantageousPractical experience with SAP as a key user, process owner, or business expert is desirableExperience with SAP FI, Asset Accounting, RE-FXUnderstanding of financial data migration concepts and data quality requirements is an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate accounting requirements into process solutionsAbility to structure and analyse complex topics and communicate them clearly to different audiencesStrong cross-functional mindset and ability to connect processes across different business functionsExcellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
