In Frankfurt we are looking for you to join us in a full-time or part-time, permanent position as Equity Sales (all genders) at BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking

BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) is engaged with a broad client base ranging from Large Multinational and Mid-sized Corporates, institutional investors as well as financial services providers (Institutionals). The division is, among others, a leading provider of investment banking, debt capital markets and sustainable financing services.

BNP Paribas' Global Markets business offers a broad range of products and services in the global interest rates, credit, currency, equities & commodity markets. Global Markets help their franchise of clients find effective ways to raise and invest capital as well as manage their exposure to risk. Their client base comprises of hundreds of corporations, institutional investors, banks, governments and supranational organisations.

Global Markets has the scale and reach to conduct business anywhere in the world and deliver products denominated in almost all of the world's currencies.

Global Equities encompasses Equity Derivatives, Prime Services and Cash Equities. The Cash Equities business line provides research, advisory, distribution, execution, corporate access and corporate broking services on equities globally to institutional investors and also serves as the distribution arm for BNPP's equity capital markets transactions.

Distribution Sales team are mainly in charge of selling BNP Paribas' Cash Equity Research product, managing Cash Equities' relationships with their institutional clients, collecting & serving their needs more generally (e.g. ideas meetings, arranging corporate/expert access encouraging clients to purchase our research and accounting for clients' profitability.

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you

• Distributing BNP Paribas' Global Cash Equity Research product, producing daily sales products
• Securing and expanding relationships with Germany's largest institutional investors, driving deeper engagement through Cash Equity Research agreements
• Identifying new business developments and finding ways to enlarge the client base in the German speaking zone in cooperation with the existing team
• Collaborating daily with the German coverage and Execution team to provide best in class client coverage and execute commercial strategy
• Partnering with other business units and teams to design ideas, challenge positions and develop new client opportunities
• Adhering to and fully recognizing regulatory requirements and BNPP policy (including BNP Paribas Code of Conduct)

Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer

• Appropriate educational background in finance, economics, or business
• Experienced salesperson with existing close relationship with the German speaking relevant client base
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to argue point of view with strong conviction
• Excellent business relationship management and development skills
• Very good level of written and oral communication in German and English
