Credit Research Analyst

Pareto Securities is an independent full-service investment bank and the undisputed market leader within the Nordic High Yield Bond market. We are seeking a new Credit Research Analyst for our growing research team in Frankfurt!

Pareto is looking to expand its global credit research team, which currently consists of 11 analysts who cover +100 bond issuers across Europe and serve as integral speaking partners for institutional credit investors.

As our new analyst, you will support our Credit Research team in Frankfurt, Oslo and Stockholm and gradually assume coverage of prominent companies in the Nordic High Yield market. In conjunction with new bond transactions and being responsible for maintenance coverage/updates, you will work closely with deal teams and interact with sales and syndicate colleagues. It goes without saying that your coverage and responsibilities would guarantee direct exposure to top management and decision makers at issuing companies.

Key Responsibilities

• In-depth financial modelling, valuation and analysis of companies across a broad range of sectors, with an emphasis on assessing credit risk
• Production of credit research reports and periodical credit comments
• Serving as a key speaking partner on companies in your coverage, frequently presenting ideas and recommendations to both brokers and investors

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with great academic results, analytical skills, strong social and commercial abilities, an interest in financial markets and a high ethical standard. The position requires great work capacity and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Good written and oral communication skills in German and English are a prerequisite.

We encourage candidates with at least 2-3 years of work experience to apply. Expertise in Credit Research, combined with a willingness to learn and adapt to credit/debt requirements, would also be considered.
