Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Cloud & AI Solution Architect to join Tencent Cloud International’s growing team in London/Amsterdam/Frankfurt. In this client-facing technical role, you will be pivotal in supporting our business development efforts, from initial customer engagement through solution design. You will evaluate technical requirements, advise on architecture, and formulate comprehensive cloud and AI solutions. To succeed, you will act as a key liaison, coordinating with Tencent Cloud’s product and engineering teams—primarily based in China and internationally—to leverage deep expertise and secure the right resources for our customers.

Job Description

• Technical Consulting & Enablemen t: Provide professional services, including business technology consultation, cloud solution training, and technical enablement to support Tencent Cloud’s international business growth.
• Solution Design & Migratio n: Collaborate with international architects and partners to design architecture on the Tencent Cloud platform. Guide customers and partners through system migration to the cloud, offering expertise in application and data migration, and supporting the development of applications and services on our platform.
• Pre-sales & Project Coordinatio n: Coordinate cross-functional resources from product, service, and operations teams to provide robust pre-sales technical support for key partner projects and strategic opportunities.
• Ecosystem & Knowledge Developmen t: Participate in building and structuring Tencent Cloud’s global technology partner ecosystem. Contribute by summarizing and documenting technical solutions and industry-specific use cases.

Job Requirements

• Education & Core Experien ce: A Bachelor’s degree or higher, with over 5 years of hands-on experience in public or private cloud environments, and a solid understanding of technologies and solutions from major cloud providers.
• Technical Bread th: Professional experience in at least two of the following domains: Software Development (proficient in Java, Python, or similar), System Operations & Maintenance, System Integration, Solution Design, Technical Consulting, Enterprise IT Systems & Architecture Management, Big Data, or AI.
• Communication & Engageme nt: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build trust with customer stakeholders at all levels—from business leaders and technical decision-makers to front-line engineers.
• Mindset & Approa ch: A strong customer-centric mindset, a rigorous and detail-oriented work ethic, and a deep sense of responsibility. You are a proven self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a proactive attitude.
• Language Skil ls: Fluent English is mandatory. Proficiency in a major European language (e.g. German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese) and/or Mandarin Chinese is a significant plus.
