The role combines electrical design, engineering delivery, and commercial cost estimation, providing end-to-end involvement across projects from initial concept through to final delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design and engineering process across a portfolio of projects from concept through to completion
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimations and tender submissions for new projects
- Develop and review technical designs, drawings, and specifications in line with client requirements and relevant standards
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and commercially viable
- Coordinate with external consultants, specialist planners, and authorities on technical design matters
- Support the bid and tendering process including preparation of bills of quantities and scope documents
- Conduct value engineering exercises to optimise design solutions for cost and performance
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international standards and regulations (DIN/VDE, IEC)
- Maintain and develop design documentation, drawing registers, and technical libraries
- Support continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and best practices across the business
- Liaise with procurement and construction teams to ensure design intent is delivered on site
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project kick-off sessions as required
Skills/Must Have:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable discipline
- Proven experience in electrical design and/or engineering estimation within a construction or technical environment
- Strong knowledge of relevant national and international standards and regulations (DIN/VDE, IEC)
- Experience preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions
- Proficient in CAD or electrical design software tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical mindset with a structured and detail-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients, planners, and site teams
- English language skills required, German language skills a strong advantage
- Class B driving licence an advantage

Salary:
- Up to €65,000 per year
