Electrical Engineer - Grid Integration
A leading global player in renewable energy development is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team as a Project Manager, and contribute to the seamless integration of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) into the German energy grid.
The role will focus on technical aspects of grid connection, working closely with TSOs/DSOs and external consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee grid connection processes for large-scale PV and BESS projects.
Develop grid connection concepts and coordinate approvals with TSOs/DSOs .
Collaborate on cable routing , site layouts, and necessary permits/approvals .
Support technical design and ensure compliance with German grid codes .
Coordinate with external consultants for acoustic assessments , visual impact studies , and other technical reports.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting within the team.
Your profile :
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, focusing on grid connection for PV and BESS projects.
In-depth knowledge of German grid codes and regulations .
Experience working with TSOs/DSOs is highly desirable.
Fluency in German and English .
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in grid integration and a passion for contributing to renewable energy advancements . Experience with battery energy storage projects is a plus.
