Your Tasks

• In our Corporate Sector Lending team you'll gain hands-on experience in analyzing credit risk, preparing credit proposals and supporting financing transactions. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills, gain insights into different industries and corporate clients, and build practical experience in credit analysis, financial assessment and transaction management.
• Got a knack for analysis? Then you're the perfect match. In your internship you'll analyze client, financial and market information to assess credit risks.
• Your results support high-quality credit proposals, including company and sector analysis, financial modelling, covenant reviews, peer benchmarking and loan documentation.
• Since Corporate Sector Lending is involved along the entire lending process, you'll help the team in ongoing portfolio management activities, such as monitoring our existing clients, rating reviews and keeping internal systems up to date.
• As you dive deeper into your role, you'll gain exposure to lending transactions and their execution and learn how corporate financing facilities are structured, documented, approved and implemented within a regulated banking environment.
• Mainly however, you become part of a motivated, international team of colleagues who support each other, share knowledge and come together for meaningful financing solutions for corporate clients.

Your Profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Law or a comparable field, or in a gap year between Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs
• First practical experience in related fields such as Wholesale Banking, Corporate Banking, Credit Risk, Corporate Finance, Debt Advisory, Transaction Services, Restructuring or Audit is a plus
• Strong interest in credit analysis, corporate finance, financial statements and corporate lending
• Proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytical, detail-oriented team player with a quality-first way of working
• High degree of self-initiative, curiosity and eagerness to take on responsibility in an agile and international environment
• Strong writing and communication skills in English and German; any other language is a plus
• Willingness to contribute to shaping the world of tomorrow
• Available for 6 months (please specify availability in your application; you must be enrolled in a degree program during the full internship period)
