We’re supporting a growing AI & Data Science company in Darmstadt that partners with customers across healthcare, insurance, finance, energy and manufacturing to solve complex real-world problems. Every project is different, giving you the opportunity to tackle genuinely interesting technical challenges rather than building the same product repeatedly.

You’ll work directly with customers, taking projects from problem definition through to deployment and presenting your findings to senior stakeholders. It’s a role with genuine ownership , where technical quality matters far more than chasing the latest AI trend.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver end-to-end Data Science and Machine Learning projects for customers
• Analyse messy, incomplete and real-world datasets
• Apply statistical analysis, predictive modelling and machine learning techniques
• Work with tabular, time series, text and image data
• Present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What they’re looking for

• Commercial Data Science and Machine Learning experience
• Strong understanding of statistics, uncertainty, hypothesis testing and model evaluation
• Excellent Python skills and experience with modern ML frameworks
• Comfortable working directly with customers and stakeholders
• Fluent English

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who instinctively questions the data before trusting the model . Someone who sees an unexpectedly high accuracy score as the beginning of the investigation rather than the end of it .
