As Project manager within our FBC ENG T3 Projects Bldg. & HVAC , you’ll lead the planning, design, and execution of building infrastructure and HVAC projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, budget adherence, and timely delivery while managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The “Industriepark Höchst” (IPH) in Frankfurt am Main is your work environment and the location of your office workspace. It is home to the Frankfurt Bio Campus (FBC), a production facility of Sanofi Deutschland GmbH for the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals. As a T3 Project Manager, you work in a small, interdisciplinary team responsible for new construction and modernization of buildings, production facilities, and cleanrooms. The team is organizationally assigned to the Engineering & Maintenance unit and thus carries responsibility for critical infrastructure in pharmaceutical production.

Main responsibilities:

• Concept development, planning and execution of investment projects that fall within the area of responsibility of the FBC
• Integration of fire protection and escape route requirements of the respective buildings
• Development and conceptualization of renovation work on the building fabric
• Cost estimate for all project phases
• Responsible for the management of small and medium-sized projects (TIER 2 and/or TIER 3), thus coordinating, delegating and controlling project processes respectively. Ensure the project execution according to customer instructions regarding costs, deadlines, quality and resources.
• Responsible for ensuring or. Performing project controlling (costs/schedule/quality) and coordinating the progress of the project with the project team, supervisors and if necessary. Client.
• Responsible for compliance with the defined processes in the area of responsibility towards external service providers (project execution).
• Stakeholder management, preparation of presentation on schedule, costs and quality as well as construction progress.
• Preparation of tender documents (specifications, etc.) and evaluation of tenders. Awarding of supplies and services in coordination with the supervisor. Coordinating the execution of services and monitoring compliance with agreements made; controlling and monitoring contractor services­
• Execution and supervision of the assembly and commissioning, implementation and documentation of qualification activities.
• Maintenance and transfer of the special know-how of his field, possibly function of the specialist representative
• Representation of the construction projects at the building authority.

About you

Education & Professional Experience

• University degree (technical) in Civil Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Solid experience in managing construction projects, ideally within a pharmaceutical or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering, construction planning, and execution
• Proficient in the use of common construction planning and project management software

Social Competencies / Technical Skills

• Sound knowledge of GMP and HSE requirements is an advantage
• Willingness to collaborate cross-functionally across departmental and organizational boundaries
• Results- and solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a structured, systematic manner

Languages

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
