Energy and Sustainability Manager

This is a regional role based in Germany where you will be responsible for implementing a sustainability program in a client's portfolio, including two major campuses in Dahlewitz and Oberursel. The campuses comprise different building types from office buildings to R&D to industrial manufacturing. You will work with a team on the account to achieve the client's sustainability goals and ensure JLL's sustainability performance meets its commitment. You are also expected to work with the wider Sustainable Operations team in the region to collect best practices in energy, waste and water management and apply them where appropriate in your daily practices.What this job involvesReporting to the Sustainable Operations Lead, you will play a critical role in driving sustainability performance across the client's German portfolio. Your key responsibilities include:Data Management & AnalyticsLiaise with the client's procurement team and local JLL site teams to collect and manage utility data (energy, waste, and water) to establish performance baselinesOversee ongoing tracking of utility usage, carbon emissions, and cost dataConduct meter and submetering data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvementsIdentify and resolve data quality issues, working with clients to implement corrective actions and improve data capture efficiencyProduce monthly reports on utility use and waste data for clients and stakeholdersProject Development & Cost SavingsDevelop a pipeline of energy and water projects ranging from optimization to capital decarbonization initiativesContribute to cost reduction and savings with a target to be confirmed annuallyStakeholder Engagement & CoordinationCoordinate with site teams, suppliers, and vendors on sustainability action plan activities, including awareness campaigns and international sustainability eventsServe as the primary point of contact for site sustainability champions and drive the champion program for GermanyEngage with JLL facility managers to provide expert advice on all aspects of energy and environmental sustainabilityCompliance & StandardsSupport compliance with JLL's standard energy and sustainability operating procedures and PlaybookAssist with ISO 50001 annual audits, F-gas reporting, and waste data assurance auditsEnsure adherence to certified ISO 50001 processes where applicableStrategic CollaborationSupport the JLL Sustainable Operations platform in EMEA, including presenting best practices to 70+ professionals across the region and contributing to playbook and tool reviewsSound like you?
