Tasks and Qualifications:Your responsibilities:Overall responsibility for the KION GenAI Platform and its strategic roadmap, including budget planning.Ensure a scalable, secure and cost‑efficient service operation using cloud‑native services.Lead delivery of GenAI use cases from requirements gathering and service provisioning to implementation support and operation.Ensure reliable platform operations, monitor performance and maintain Service Level Agreement compliance.Drive continuous improvement of development, deployment and monitoring processes (DevOps / LLMOps / AgentOps).Ensure secure operation of GenAI services (access control, logging, monitoring and incident management).Implement and support global KION AI use cases in collaboration with business stakeholders.Lead, coach and support the professional development of the global team of AI Engineers and platform experts.What we are looking for:Master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineeringProven experience (7+ years) in AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI-related architecture/technology projects, preferably within a large enterprise environmentProfound understanding of current AI technologies (ML models, LLMs, vector databases, RAG methods, modern frameworks)Experience in IT governance, product management, or AI-related application ownershipStrong understanding of AI/GenAI lifecycle, enterprise software processes, and governance best practicesKnowledge about AI project management, delivery, or technological evaluation as well as agile methodologies and DevOps practicesExperience in creating solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team environmentStructured, independent, and analytical way of working, as well as a high willingness to learnExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challengesExperience in managing and mentoring technical teamsVery good knowledge of English, German is a plus.Does this sound interesting?
