What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Brand & Communications Manager Germany & European Export (INTERIM) with innovations skills and business vision to join our Marketing Team in our office in Frankfurt am Main (Germany).

Mission

Do you want to do more than support strong brands and actively shape their future? Are you comfortable working across brand management, media, PR and digital marketing, and excited by an international role with a high level of ownership?

In this position, you will be responsible for two key areas: driving important media and communications activities for Germany while serving as the marketing contact for selected European export and growth markets, including the UK, Switzerland, Austria and the Nordics.

Germany is one of our most important markets where our brands hold a leading position. At the same time, we continue to expand our business across Europe. This role combines the stewardship of a strong existing business with the opportunity to help shape new growth markets.

Key Responsibilities

Media, Communications & PR – Germany

• Manage local media and PR agencies and collaborate closely with global media and communications teams.

• Plan and execute local media, PR and communication activities and adapt global campaigns and assets for the German market.

• Develop ATL and communications support for product innovations and new product launches.

• Further develop our digital-first approach with a strong focus on digital touchpoints, social media and new communication formats.

• Help shape communications aimed at younger target groups, especially Gen Z and Millennials.

• Monitor emerging media, social and communication trends and translate them into actionable initiatives for our brands.

• Manage press inquiries, interviews and reputation-related topics in coordination with management, the global communications team and external partners.

Brand & Marketing Management – European Export

• Provide marketing support and guidance to distributors and business partners in European export markets.

• Advise partners on local marketing activities, campaigns and activations while ensuring a consistent brand presence.

• Identify market, consumer and growth opportunities and translate insights into concrete marketing initiatives.

• Co-shape brand and portfolio strategy with the European Export Sales Team and further develop innovation and portfolio pipelines for European growth markets.

• Develop brand, portfolio and launch storylines and presentations for partners, customers and internal stakeholders.

• Lead product and innovation rollouts, including independent project management and coordination of all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

You will need

• Some relevant experience in brand management, consumer marketing, project management or a comparable marketing environment, ideally within FMCG/consumer goods.

• Strong understanding of brand management, communications and media.

• Experience in digital marketing and/or social media is highly valued as we continue to digitalize our communications and reach younger consumers more effectively.

• Experience managing media, creative and/or PR agencies.

• Ideally experience with product innovation, launches and cross-functional project management.

• Fluent English and good to very good German skills.

• Confident and open approach to working with diverse stakeholders, cultures and markets.

• Structured and independent working style with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects.

• Hands-on mindset, flexibility and enjoyment of a dynamic international environment.
