Reference: PR/607118_1787572781Senior Inventory ManagerGreater Frankfurt Area | Contract Logistics & Supply ChainAbout the OpportunityOur client is a leading international logistics and supply chain organization operating highly complex warehouse and distribution environments for globally recognized customers.Due to continued growth and increasing operational complexity, they are seeking an experienced Senior Inventory Manager to take ownership of inventory accuracy, stock integrity and inventory-related process excellence within a large-scale logistics operation.This is a highly visible role offering significant autonomy, direct customer interaction and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, systems and inventory processes.Your ResponsibilitiesInventory Management & Stock AccuracyEnsure alignment between physical inventory and system records.Develop and implement sustainable inventory control standards.Drive initiatives to improve stock accuracy and reduce inventory discrepancies.Monitor inventory KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.Reconciliation & Root Cause AnalysisLead inventory investigations and discrepancy resolution activities.Conduct detailed root cause analyses across inventory and operational processes.Implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure long-term inventory integrity.Collaborate with operational teams to eliminate recurring issues.Inventory Processes & Continuous ImprovementManage cycle count programmes and annual physical inventory activities.Optimise inventory workflows, stock movements and system transactions.Improve inventory-related processes through data-driven decision making.Support quality and operational excellence initiatives across the site.Systems & ReportingAct as the subject matter expert for inventory-related processes and systems.Work closely with warehouse management, IT teams and customer stakeholders.Generate performance reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.Translate complex inventory data into practical business recommendations.Stakeholder & Customer ManagementServe as the main point of contact for inventory-related topics.Participate in customer meetings and business reviews.Communicate inventory performance, risks and improvement initiatives in a professional manner.Build strong relationships across operational, commercial and management functions.Your ProfileSeveral years of experience in Inventory Management, Inventory Control or Stock Management.Experience within logistics, warehousing, supply chain or distribution environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Experience conducting inventory reconciliations and root cause analyses.High level of systems affinity and ability to quickly learn new applications.Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems, ideally SAP-based environments.Advanced Excel and reporting skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Fluent English is required.Additional European language skills are considered an advantage.What Success Looks LikeInventory accuracy consistently exceeds operational targets.Inventory discrepancies are identified and resolved proactively.Sustainable process improvements are implemented across inventory operations.Strong partnerships are established with customers and operational teams.Inventory-related risks are mitigated through data-driven decision making.What Is OfferedA highly visible role with significant ownership and decision-making responsibility.Direct exposure to customers, senior leadership and complex supply chain operations.Career development opportunities within a growing international organization.A collaborative and performance-driven environment.Competitive compensation package.Modern logistics environment with advanced systems and technology.If you are passionate about inventory excellence, operational improvement and driving measurable business impact, we would be delighted to speak with you about this opportunity.
