Several Data Scientists (m/f/d)

Our work units are responsible for the collection, quality assurance, and analysis of key financial and economic statistics.

These include data on insurance, pension funds, residential real estate financing, payment transactions, securities holdings as well as money market, reference and foreign trade data.

These statistics form the basis for analyzing financial stability and fulfilling national and European reporting requirements. Using modern technologies and data science, we shape our processes for the future and ensure high data quality. We are currently looking for up to 15 data scientists for various teams to take on these exciting tasks.

• Independently assume responsibility for data science tasks in reporting and further develop our statistics and the associated processes.
• Digitization, standardization and automation of workflows for data collection and quality assurance.
• Improving data quality management and using modern technologies and analysis methods in agile teams.
• Independent analysis and evaluation of future topics such as

  e.g.

  Cloud migration and implementation of innovative solutions.
• Participation in the implementation of national and international data requirements, analysis of regulatory changes and adaptation of processes.
• Participation in various working groups as well as preparation of decision-making documents and coordination with internal and external partners.

Special values: Your qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in economics (

  e.g.

  Economics

  ,

  Business Administration

  , Business Law, Business Psychology) or a quantitative degree program (

  e.g.

  Statistics, (Business) Mathematics or (Business) Informatics, Data Science, Physics, Quantitative Economics/Finance) with at least a good degree in each case
• Good economic knowledge as well as good knowledge of the accounting of credit institutions, companies and insurance companies and the associated reporting system
• Good programming skills (ideally in Python, R, Java,

  SQL

  )
• Good knowledge and experience in the application, further development and implementation of mathematical-statistical methods (

  e.g.

  Machine Learning)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and their possible applications (

  e.g.

  Azure,

  AWS

  or Google Cloud) are advantageous
• Initial experience in conceptual work and/or committee work is an advantage
• Experience in working with agile methods (

  e.g.

  Kanban or Scrum) and their application in the management of data-driven

  IT

  • Projects are advantageous
• Strong ability to analyze, evaluate, and concisely present complex issues
• Independent yet team-oriented way of working
• Confident demeanor, negotiating skills and persuasiveness, also in an international environment
• Very good communication skills in German and English

Remuneration based on the

TVöD
