Administrative Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Administrative Specialist to support our compliance operations in Germany. This role focuses on managing WEEE registration processes, coordinating with customers and local compliance partners, and ensuring all registrations remain fully compliant with German regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end WEEE registration process in Germany, including document preparation, submission, and follow-up with the EAR platform.
- Review customer registration documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with German WEEE regulations, and coordinate corrections when needed.
- Liaise with German compliance partners and suppliers regarding guarantee requirements and registration-related matters.
- Maintain existing WEEE accounts, including annual renewals, information updates, cancellations, and compliance tracking.
- Organize and maintain registration records, certificates, and supporting documents to ensure audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Advanced German speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills (C1 level or above).
- Ability to independently read, understand, and handle official documents from German authorities.
- Valid work authorization in Germany and ability to work in Germany long term.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and common office tools.
- Responsible, patient, and comfortable handling structured, process-driven compliance tasks. Sensitive to data accuracy and document management.
- Knowledge or experience in VAT, EPR, tax compliance, or related regulatory areas is a plus.
