Investment Banking M&A Senior Analyst/Junior Associate | Frankfurt

We are looking for a motivated and talented professional to join our M&A Advisory team in Frankfurt at the Senior Analyst/Junior Associate level. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to take the next step in their investment banking career within a focused, entrepreneurial team working on complex, high-quality transactions.

You will take on increasing responsibility across the deal lifecycle — from origination support and financial analysis through to execution and client interaction — contributing meaningfully to live transactions from day one.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to financial modelling, valuation work, and quantitative analysis across live mandates

• Support the origination and execution of M&A and advisory transactions, including due diligence and documentation

• Prepare and present high-quality client materials, including pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations

• Conduct in-depth company, sector, and market research to generate actionable insights

• Actively participate in client meetings and support the development of client relationships

• Monitor market trends, deal activity, and sector developments relevant to our coverage areas

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance advisory, M&A, private equity, or transaction services

• Excellent academic background from a top-tier university, ideally in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with solid knowledge of financial statement analysis under HGB and IFRS

• High attention to detail and excellent self-organization skills

• Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and take ownership of responsibilities

• Strong team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
