Our client is a globally active financial institution with strong regional presence and a well‑established governance framework. The branch offers a professional and international environment with clear structures, short decision paths, and strong leadership support.

• Support the MLRO with all AML/CFT obligations of the branch, including risk assessments, transaction oversight, internal controls, and regulatory reporting.
• Take ownership of designated AML workstreams, including review of alerts, customer due diligence, escalations, and high‑risk case analyses.
• Contribute to the design, enhancement, and execution of AML controls, ensuring quality and consistency across existing processes.
• Assist in preparing regulatory submissions, responding to internal and external audit requests, and coordinating remediation activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Compliance Officer, Back‑Office Management, and international teams across the institution's global network.
• Support AML/Compliance training initiatives and contribute to strengthening local governance frameworks.
• Act as deputy to the MLRO in defined areas, including selected reporting obligations and stakeholder interactions.
ANFORDERUNGSPROFIL:

• Minimum first Full-Time experience in AML, Financial Crime, or regulatory Compliance within a financial services institution - alternatively from a Big Four or consulting environment with a strong financial regulatory focus.
• Professional qualification in finance or accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations (e.g., EU AML directives, German AML law/GwG, KYC standards, monitoring processes).
• Solid analytical capability, familiarity with AML systems, and ability to translate regulatory expectations into practical process actions.
• Excellent command of English; comfortable working in an international environment.
• Strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
