To strengthen their balance sheets, boost cash flows, and transition out of survival mode.What You'll DoRapid Value & Cash (RVC) by BCG is a new enterprise within BCG; it is a natural extension of BCG Transform Practice Area but is designed to unlock untapped transformation opportunities with greater speed, flexibility, and lower setup risk.RVC teams work side-by-side with clients to rapidly diagnose issues and implement solutions across finance, HR, operations, supply chain, and technology. By embedding experienced operators and leveraging GenAI and forward-deployed engineers, we help organizations free up cash, optimize cost structures, and strengthen performance at pace – delivering results in weeks, not months, and enabling teams to stay focused on the most critical value drivers.As a Senior Operator in RVC, you will take on a hands-on execution role in high-stakes transformation and performance improvement situations. Depending on project mix, this may include stepping into interim leadership positions (CxO-1 / CxO-2) within client organizations, with clear accountability for on-site results.You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, taking ownership of outcomes, driving decisions, and delivering rapid, measurable impact in execution-first environments.Lead high-impact workstreams and programs in turnaround, restructuring, and value creation – from diagnosis through implementationAt times, take end-to-end ownership of results, including P&L impact, cash delivery, and operational performance improvements – in an interim leadership capacity within client organizationsTranslate analyses into pragmatic action plans and drive execution on-site to deliver measurable business impact at paceExecute across key value levers (cost, cash, operations, organization), with a strong focus on speed and impactPartner with senior stakeholders (CEO, CFO, functional leaders) to shape decisions, drive alignment, and navigate complex transformation settingsEmbed within client organizations and mobilize BCG’s full ecosystem (experts, proprietary tools, AI-enabled capabilities) to deliver end-to-end impactBuild trusted client relationships, identify additional value creation opportunities, and support business development effortsCoach and develop team members and help build sustainable capabilities within client organizationsContribute to the evolution of RVC methodologies, playbooks, and best practicesWhat You'll Bring12–20+ years of relevant experience in consulting, private equity value creation, restructuring, or senior industry roles, with a strong track record in transformation and performance improvementExperience in interim or operational leadership roles with hands-on accountability is a plus; above all, a strong track record of owning outcomes and driving measurable resultsDeep functional and/or industry expertise (e.g., operations, finance, treasury, PMO, people, or organizational transformation), with the ability to apply it in complex, real-world settingsProven experience delivering turnarounds, restructuring programs, or large-scale value creation initiatives with measurable impactStrong execution mindset with the ability to move from analysis to action – bringing a hands-on, pragmatic, and results-oriented approachCredibility and presence to influence senior stakeholders (CEO, CFO, functional leaders) in demanding, fast-paced environmentsExperience in private equity-backed businesses, mid-cap companies, or industrial environments; interim or on-the-ground leadership experience is a plusCommercial acumen and relationship-building skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to client developmentStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with sound judgment to balance strategic perspective and practical executionDemonstrated leadership and team development skills, with a commitment to coaching and capability buildingFluent in German and English (written and spoken)Career Opportunity: We are committed to your growth.
