Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer/Manager (m/w/d)

Aufgaben:

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer/Manager for a project at our customer's site.

General conditions:
+ 100 % onsite Grünheide (Mark)

The tasks include:
+ Provide design input to Engineering Team during the design reviews.
+ Pre-align with Technical Service Team regularly on the new systems to be implemented.
+ Develop pre commissioning check list and provide Commissioning scope to Procurement Team.
+ Develop and set into motion innovative plans together with project controls team that reduce budget and/or condense schedule (Value Engineering and time/cost impact mitigation) to keep milestones and costs.
+ Present ideas and plans to executive leaders.
+ Understand and lead commissioning phase and startup systems and sequences.
+ Submit and follow Request For Information queries and Work Requests to develop activities in alignment with the stakeholders in a live/brownfield environment.
+ Follow all new scopes to ensure commissioning on time.
+ Work on multiple projects / areas at the same time.
+ Quickly respond to queries and resolve any technical barriers to completion.
+ Work with Procurement team to create biddable commissioning packages and verify contractor bids against cost/schedule estimates, provide input in the Scope of Works and provide input for contractual clauses from design submittal to PO release.
+ Interface with Engineering Team, Construction Team, Technical Services team, Manufacturing and every stakeholder involved in the project.
+ Develop templates and standards for future phases/projects.
+ Enforce and maintain high quality standards for commissioning by contractors.
+ Facilitate documentation for hand over process in time: early access up to final acceptance.
+ In-depth knowledge of German and European technical standards, including documentation
+ In-depth knowledge and experience in commissioning complex factory systems including mechanical dry (HVAC, dust collection, exhaust, etc.), process (water treatment, natural gas, liquid Nitrogen, etc.), and utility systems (compressed air, domestic water, sewage, etc.)
+ Escalate topics to Construction Lead

Anforderungen:

MUST:
+ Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree Engineering or Technical Field and/or evidence of exceptional
experience.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication.
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autodesk.
+ Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field and to get hands dirty as needed to
complete objectives or find the correct information.
+ Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines
and aggressive goals.
+ 5-10 years’ experience in similar roll for similar projects.
