Senior Construction Manager (m/w/d)

Aufgaben:

We are currently looking for an experienced site manager for a project at our customer's site.

General conditions:
+ 100 % onsite Grünheide (Mark)

The tasks include:
+ Provide design input to Engineering Team during the design reviews.
+ Proactively propose Value Engineering solutions in order to optimize the scope.
+ Pre-align with Technical Service Team regularly on the new systems to be implemented.
+ Develop pre commissioning check list and provide Commissioning scope to Procurement Team.
+ Develop and set into motion innovative plans together with project controls team that reduce budget and/or condense schedule (Value Engineering and time/cost impact mitigation) to keep milestones and costs.
+ Present ideas and plans to executive leaders.
+ Understand and lead construction, startup systems and sequences and review designs for
constructability.
+ Submit and follow RFIs, FCRs and request for CRQFs to the TPM when required.
+ Follow all DCNOTs to ensure execution on time.
+ Work on multiple projects / areas at the same time.
+ Quickly respond to queries and resolve any technical barriers to completion.
+ Work with Procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor bids against cost/schedule estimates, create SoW and provide input for WA from design submittal to PO release.
+ Interface with engineering team, construction team, legal, commissioning team, manufacturing, FM and every stakeholder involved in the project.
+ Develop templates and standards for future phases/projects.
+ Enforce and maintain high quality standards for engineering drawings and for field installations by contractors.
+ Facilitate documentation for hand over process in time: blue/green tag.
+ Track down and lead the hand over process throughout SW building.
+ Escalate topics to Construction Lead.

Anforderungen:

MUST:
+ Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Construction, Engineering or Technical Field and/or evidence of
exceptional experience. 
+ Excellent written and verbal communication.
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field and to get hands dirty as needed to
complete objectives or find the correct information.
+ Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines
and aggressive goals.
+ 5-10 years’ experience in similar roll for similar projects
