THE ROLE

The role of the Install Technician is to perform on-site services including installation, maintenance and repair. As part of the installation process you will provide technical installation of the Toptracer Range system for both Outdoor and Indoor product solutions, ensuring a fully functioning system is delivered to the client. You will also be able to provide demonstration and training of the system to a basic understanding, to facility staff on how to use the system and report issues. The role will involve extensive travel across Europe and some ROW countries, resulting in working some unsociable hours.

Installation of all Toptracer Range equipment in line with in-house created installations design packs (eg’ Cameras, Server, Router, Switches, in-bay monitors and mounts and trusses where required). Test all system components after installation to ensure a fully functioning system. Work closely with the online Technical Support teams during an installation, to ensure all equipment is calibrated and correctly installed to provide a fully functioning system.

 

POSSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the Install Project Manager on all queries, reporting any issues and liaising closely with line manager to ensure installation timelines and workflows are on target.
• Complete full system product training with onsite staff on how to fully utilise the Toptracer Range system.
• Lead assigned independent contractors allocated to each installation.
• Advise the customer on most appropriate outfield target layout to maximise ‘in-game’ usage and respond to customer enquiries.
• Complete ad-hoc support site visits as/when required and any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the role and Toptracer.
• Attend ad-hoc review meetings with the Operations team and provide constructive feedback on installs with suggestions for continuous improvement.

WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE

• Structural installation knowledge.
• Located close to an international airport within mainland Europe (preferably France, Germany or Spain)
• A major European language. Fluency in English, considered a strong asset.
• Electrical Power and Data schematic knowledge.
• Equipment maintenance.
• Quality focus.
• Full clean driving license.
• Electrical and IT troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience in client relationship building.
• Availability to travel at least 4 days per week.
