As a Products Analyst in the Asset Management team, you will collaborate with industry experts to develop investment solutions for our corporate, government, not-for-profit, and clients worldwide. You will work with client portfolio managers, traders, research analysts, marketers, and client advisors to understand and execute investment strategies. This role provides an opportunity to help build our clients’ futures while developing your own expertise in a dynamic team environment.

The programme is non-rotational providing you with an opportunity to develop solid relationships with your desk/team and get involved in real-time projects. Be prepared to be flexible, learn quickly, and act on your judgements. There’s a lot to absorb but you'll benefit from the support of a dedicated junior and senior staff member to help you integrate into your team and to answer any questions you might have throughout the summer. You will participate in a performance management process where you will set and monitor your goals and objectives. Alongside the learning curve of your main role, you’ll gain a different perspective of the firm through desk based training, business presentations and various networking opportunities.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with industry experts to develop investment solutions for our corporate, government, not-for-profit and clients worldwide
  • Work with client portfolio managers, traders, research analysts, marketers and client advisors to understand and execute investments strategies
  • Help build our clients’ futures while developing your own expertise in a dynamic team environment
  • Participate in a performance management process where you will set and monitor your goals and objective

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • An expected graduation year of July 2025 - June 2027
  • Penultimate year students
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence and initiative to take on responsibility and manage your own projects
  • Logical thinking and quantitative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good level of numeracy is required
  • Flexibility, teamwork, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle pressure
  • Studies of Business Administration, Finance or similar preferred, but not required – applicants from all disciplines are welcome
  • Strong knowledge in corporate finance and Excel (financial modelling)
  • Previous experience in M&A, private equity or management consulting a plus
  • Affinity to real estate a plus
  • Fluency in German and English is essential

Alternatives Real Estate: The JPMAM alternatives platform provides a spectrum of innovative investments that, when used correctly, can play a key role in generating new sources of return and portfolio diversification. Spanning real estate, real assets, private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and liquid alternatives, our solutions provide dynamic opportunities to meet our investors return objectives.

Providing support for the investment team in:

  • Supporting the initial screening of investment opportunities (single assets / portfolios with a focus on office, residential, logistics/ industrial)
  • Cash-flow modelling & financial analysis
  • Conducting asset/market specific research
  • Compiling internal memoranda and presentations to support investment decisions
