Employment law Associate
Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking for an Associate to join its Employment team in Frankfurt.
The role:
Associates are involved in demanding client work from day one and are given responsibility early, both within the team and across the wider practice group. The work has a strong international focus and includes:
- Employment aspects of German and international transactions, working closely with the M&A and Private Equity teams on due diligence, structuring, documentation and implementation
- Restructurings involving workforce measures, particularly in a transactional context
- Advising well-known German and international companies on employment matters, including compensation structures, negotiations and agreements with works councils, individual and collective agreements, and compliance
- Representing clients in employment disputes before German labour and civil courts at all levels, in particular conciliation and chamber hearings in unfair dismissal proceedings.
The profile:
- Initial relevant experience in employment law
- Excellent legal qualifications
- An interest in international business and complex legal questions
- Very good English
- A strong team spirit and commercial mindset.
