STEPHENS M&A ANALYST
Analysts assist junior and senior bankers in advising the firm’s clients, which include UK and European mid-market privately owned enterprises, large multinational organisations, private equity firms and family offices.

Stephens offers Analysts a unique opportunity to learn and prepare for a rewarding career in finance, while making significant contributions to our team. As an Analyst, you will work as an integral member of small, dedicated deal teams on a variety of M&A projects. Your key responsibilities will include supporting the preparation of transaction marketing materials, valuation analyses, and financial models, gaining valuable exposure to senior bankers and clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analysts support senior bankers and client management teams by:

• Preparing presentation materials such as pitch books, Confidential Information Memorandums, and marketing materials;
• Developing detailed financial analyses for transactions;
• Conducting industry research and analysis;
• Supporting daily M&A process coordination.

Our training program prepares motivated Analysts for potential advancement to an Associate role.

Education
A strong academic record from a reputable university, with graduation expected before the start date.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both German and English;
• Effective teamwork and a commitment to excellence;
• Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize, and meet deadlines independently;

• Exceptional academic achievement and interest in finance;
• Ability to interpret and communicate large data volumes;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
