.NET Developer (m/f/d) - Frankfurt am Main

For my client, a growing Start-Up in the image processing industry I am looking for an experienced .NET Software Developer (m/f/d) to join the team in Frankfurt am Main which has about 50 employees at this location. 40 of those are in the Development department.

As a .NET developer within the developer team containing 5 developers, you will be designing and developing the tools and editor of an extensible and modern real-time 3D rendering engine for the cinematic industry.

The company:

This Start-up is into real-time graphics and computer vision and develops key technologies in graphic visualization applications for the industry. The focus is to improve the productivity of clients in real-time TV and Film production, as much as visualization and real-time industry data simulation.

The office is centrally located in Frankfurt and is easily accessible by public transport. Parking is also available.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and developing applications and tools for a 3D rendering engine.



• Create and improve the frontend in collaboration with the engine team.



• Researching, evaluating and implementing latest technologies.



• Optimize performance of all components.



• By using the tools in an optimal way you support the different project teams.



• Extend and work with various tool and engine subsystems.

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.



• 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer.



• Strong programming skills in C# (.NET 5 / .NET Core 3.1).



• Knowledge of common design patterns.



• Very good profiling and debugging skills.



• Good English skills. German is not needed.

Nice to have:

• Experience with C++.



• Experience with XAML based UI frameworks such as WPF, UWP or Avalonia.



• Knowledge about common game engine systems, such as entity component systems an asset pipelines.



• Experience with multi-threaded software architecture.
