In Frankfurt we are looking for you to join us in October in a full-time or part-time, non-permanent position as Intern (all genders) in Debt Markets - Loan Capital Markets at BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking

BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) is engaged with a broad client base ranging from Large Multinational and Mid-sized Corporates, institutional investors as well as financial services providers (Institutionals). The division is, among others, a leading provider of investment banking, debt capital markets and sustainable financing services.

BNP Paribas' Loan Capital Markets team is embedded in our market-leading Debt Markets franchise and offers a rewarding experience for students interested in starting their Capital Markets / Investment Banking career. The internship programme presents an excellent opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of syndicated loans, credit analysis and financial modelling. As fully-fledged deal team members, interns are involved in all aspects of the team's daily work from financing origination in various industries to live deal execution with well-known clients in the DACH region.

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you

• Supporting the Loan Capital Markets team in the origination and execution of acquisition financing and other syndicated loan transactions
• Performing financial analyses of companies and their capital structures across sectors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
• Preparing financial models including a detailed cash flow analysis and future projections
• Creating slide decks for client meetings and internal reports, drafting credit committee memorandums
• Collaborating with other CIB teams (Corporate Coverage, DCM, M&A, ECM etc.) on cross-product solutions

Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer

• Currently pursuing an academic degree, ideally in business administration, finance, accounting or economics
• Strong quantitative / financial modelling and communication skills – first professional experience in corporate finance is an advantage
• Analytical mindset and ability to deliver excellent results under tight deadlines
• Enthusiastic team player who thrives in a dynamic transaction-driven environment
• Fully proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Fluent in English with a good knowledge of German
