In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading architecture, implementation, and pre-sales activities across CRM and loyalty initiatives. You will combine architect-level technical expertise with client-facing consulting skills, helping organizations transform their customer experience through scalable and innovative CRM ecosystems.Your Job at Merkle:Lead the architecture and design of CRM & Loyalty solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Insights) and Power Platform (Dataverse)Translate client business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing solution architecturesDefine and implement integration patterns between Dynamics 365 / Dataverse and surrounding systemsLead or support Dynamics 365 migration programs, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy platformsAct as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in client engagements, delivery projects, and pre-sales activitiesCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teamsProvide technical leadership and governance across the full delivery lifecycleSupport solution design during RFPs, proposals, and client pitchesEnsure adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and performance benchmarksIdentify risks and define mitigation strategies for complex CRM implementationsStay up to date with the latest Microsoft ecosystem innovations and industry trendsYour Skills for Merkle:Architect-level expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, especially:Dynamics 365 SalesDynamics 365 Customer InsightsDataverseUnderstanding and hands on experience with various Azure service, mainly Service bus, Event hub or Azure FunctionsHands on experience with different migration tools and ETLs (i.e. Azure Data Factory, KingswaySoft)Strong knowledge of CRM architecture principles, including data models, security, and scalabilityProven experience with integration patterns (APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, etc.)Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 migrations and transformation programsExperience working in client-facing roles, including workshops, stakeholder management, and advisoryFamiliarity with Success by Design methodologyExperience and knowledge of running discovery workshops with customers from different industriesAbility to contribute to pre-sales and business development activitiesStrong understanding of end-to-end CRM and customer engagement ecosystemsExcellent communication and presentation skillsNice to HaveExperience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms (strong plus)Experience in multi-system landscapes and enterprise architectureMicrosoft certifications (Dynamics 365, Azure)LanguagesExcellent communication skills in both German and EnglishWhat’s in It for You?
