Field Technician Apprentice (m/f/d)

Join our Field Technician Apprenticeship, where you’ll gain hands-on experience working with the infrastructure that powers global connectivity. From day one, you’ll be part of a three-year training programme to become an IT Systems Electronics Technician, working across different teams and learning how international networks, data lines, and data centres operate.

What you’ll be doing:

Working in our Operations & Engineering function, you’ll support the delivery and maintenance of Colt’s network, gaining practical experience across a range of technical activities.

You’ll also be responsible for:

• Supporting the installation and maintenance of network infrastructure
• Assisting with the delivery and installation of customer services and network upgrades
• Providing support to internal teams including service delivery, service assurance, and engineering
• Learning about different data transmission technologies and network systems
• Gaining exposure to project preparation and working across different departments

Who are we looking for?

You should have a secondary school diploma ( Mittlere Reife or higher ) and a strong interest in technology and hands-on work. You must be fluent in German, with good English language skills and a willingness to develop them further.
