Human Transcription Reviewer – Native German Speakers

We are seeking native German speakers with exceptional English proficiency and strong attention to detail to join our team as Human Transcription Reviewers.

In this role, you will listen to recorded audio conversations in English and review, correct, and validate AI-generated English transcripts to ensure the highest levels of accuracy, grammar, punctuation, formatting, and readability.

This is not a basic transcription position. We are looking for individuals who are native German speakers and have an advanced command of English, enabling them to identify transcription errors, understand context, and ensure transcripts accurately reflect spoken content.

The ideal candidate has a background in English, education, writing, editing, transcription, quality assurance, or other language-intensive work. Experience reviewing English-language content is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to recorded English conversations and review AI-generated transcripts.
• Correct transcription errors, omissions, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and formatting issues.
• Ensure transcripts accurately reflect the original spoken content.
• Identify contextual errors, misinterpretations, and inaccuracies that AI may miss.
• Verify spelling, sentence structure, and appropriate word usage.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and readability.
• Follow project guidelines and established transcription standards.
• Meet productivity and turnaround expectations without compromising quality.
• Flag unclear audio, inconsistencies, and quality concerns for further review.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and feedback processes.

Required Qualifications

• Native German speaker.
• Advanced English proficiency, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading.
• Excellent English listening comprehension and contextual understanding.
• Ability to understand various English accents, speech patterns, and conversational expressions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet working environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive review tasks while consistently maintaining high-quality standards.
