Hospitality is all about taking care of others, and it defines our culture.The Role:The Account Manager leads a portfolio of restaurants and is responsible for the full customer lifecycle. From bringing the restaurants on to the OpenTable network to supporting them on how to use and get the most from being an OpenTable customer! This position is hybrid, with you working 40% remotely from home & 60% traveling domestically. (these percentages are an average)This role requires you to be a native German speaker as well as have English language proficiencyIn this Role you will:Nurture and build upon existing high-level relationships to serve as a trusted advisor to restaurantsAct as an advocate for restaurant customers and resolve cross-functional issuesAct as the high-level point of contact for restaurant customer concernsAssist restaurant management with configuration to optimise reservation flowUnderstand customer needs and identify sales opportunities to upsell Marketing assets to restaurants.Achieve company goals and sales objectives set quarterlyComplete detailed report templates on the installation for Technical Support staff at OpenTablePlace OpenTable reservation links on customer restaurant websitesTrack meeting activity and coordinate monthly meetings & QBRs with key customersWork with the Marketing team to help craft and implement restaurant-specific marketing programs and drive participation in promotional programsCapture feedback from restaurants to suggest feature and functionality requirements for product upgradesEducate operators about trends in the industry and offer rare insightLead restaurant retention rate; aid in the re-signing of customers with expired contractsPlease apply if:You are a native German speaker and have English language proficiency5+ years Account management or equivalent experience; validated customer service skillsYou are passionate about hospitality and technology. Restaurant management and/or sales experience in the food and beverage industry is strongly preferred but not essential.A good listener, capable of understanding restaurants business objectives and handling objectionsAbility to manage objections and comfortable with a consultative sales approachYou are skilled at communicating new points of view to customers that reframe and challenge the way they view their business.You have outstanding negotiating skills that help drive business value during sales engagements.You are passionate about using data and analytics to advise decision-making and build casesAbility to work across many departments to take on problems and achieve resultsKeenly track economic and industry drivers and understand implications on the restaurant business, including identifying new business opportunitiesConfident in the delivery of training and speaking in front of groupsExcellent social and planning skills: task prioritisation, effective time managementStrong writing, presentation and interpersonal skillsYou are proficient in the use of Google Suite and Salesforce CRM.Valid driving license and transportation (all business-related travel expenses reimbursed)Appreciate working in an unstructured and forward-thinking environmentCollege degree requiredPlease note; we have a global recruitment team, so ask that your Resume is submitted in English.
