About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing global operating Private Market infrastructure investment manager with plans to embrace further growth in the DACH region. For their client's department, we are searching for an Investor Relations Sales Director covering DACH investors out of Germany, Vienna or Zurich to develop new and existing institutional clients.

Job Description

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and understand client's needs.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with institutional investors > EUR 500 Mio. AuM
• Act as a first point of contact for all existing clients in the respective region.
• Represent the company at events and organize networking events in the alternative investment industry.
• Proactive, structured, and disciplined market coverage with a clear focus to sell the company's diverse set of investment products.
• Maintain close and collaborative relationships with the Investment Management and other internal stakeholders.
• Work together with the Client Services team to ensure continued coverage of existing clients in the region
• Offering guidance, acting as sparring partner of clients and prospects, and presenting investment solutions.
• Actively participating in the further development of marketing material, completion of RFPs, RFIs, and other sales requests.
• Further leveraging own professional network and including attendance of relevant conferences and professional events.
• Report to Head Institutional Sales DACH (based in Munich), visit offices in Zurich, Frankfurt on a regular basis

The Successful Applicant

• University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• 8-15 years of experience in institutional business with strong sales skills and ready to establish infrastructure products on the market.
• Proven track record in institutional sales in DACH region
• Strong network with corporates and / or top tier - family offices / endowments and / or Austrian institutional investors is a plus
• Experience with Infrastructure investments is a strong advantage
• Ability to build key relationships across internal and external stakeholder groups, strong communications skills. Strong service mentality, team player mentality - open to perform for team targets.
• Plans and organize work properly and meet deadlines due to prioritization.
• Thorough understanding of capital markets and affinity with technical and industry-specific developments and able translate these into coherent communications; good understanding of Sustainability challenges, regulatory frameworks and ESG integration relevance for investments.
• Entrepreneurial approach and driven to perform.
• High level of self-motivation and strong sense of accountability while staying humble.
• Professional fluency in English and German are mandatory
