Tasks & Responsibilities

• Performing ex-ante checks for outsourcing call money, time deposits, and non-in-bank assets
• Monitoring daily regulatory restrictions, market conformity of transactions, and securities lending collaterals
• Validating overdrafts and VaR reports as part of the second-level monitoring process
• Executing operational tasks and updating relevant procedures to ensure process accuracy
• Managing internal and external requests while identifying and reporting technical incidents via our internal ticket system
• Delivering operational service levels and supporting the integration of new client activities
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting internal/external audits
• Escalating potential incidents and problems promptly to management to mitigate operational risk

Expertise & Soft Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher university degree
• Professional experience at least 1 year
• Sound knowledge of German and European regulations, such as KAGB and DerivateV, and IC operational processes, procedures and services
• Deep knowledge of funds, securities and derivatives markets
• Ability to manage and control Investment Compliance risks
• Client-oriented and detail-focused working style
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
• If possible, knowledge of the internal systems mainly used to carry out Investment Compliance tasks, i.e. Eurosycomore, Innova, additionally Business Objects, Multifonds etc. as well as MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
• Full professional fluency in German (C1 Level required) and good written and spoken English skills
