Senior Data Scientist in CCM (d/m/w)

About the area

We are part of the Cash Transformation Team and part of Corporate Cash Management. Our responsibility lies in driving innovative transformation projects within Corporate Cash Management to implement strategic initiatives. This collaboration takes place bank-wide and across functions, with a strong focus on data science projects for Corporate Cash Management to enable data-driven sales, process efficiency, and product innovation.

Your tasks

• Use data relevant to corporate cash management (e.g., payment and balance data) to generate insights and unlock revenue potential for our global cash sales and corporate coverage teams.

• Together with other stakeholders, you will lead the redesign and optimization of processes within the CCM and at the CCM's business partners.

• Develop data- and AI-based innovations for cash products.

• Drive forward and successfully implement the AI ​​strategy for corporate cash management.

Your skills and experience

• Completed Master's degree or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field

• Solid mathematical understanding of data science issues, e.g. optimization algorithms and vectorization problems.

• At least 3 years of experience in end-to-end development and productive implementation of machine learning and deep learning models on large datasets.

• Excellent knowledge of Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and SQL.

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with high speed and a strong hands-on mentality.

• Ability to explain technically complex topics in a way that is understandable to a non-technical audience.

• Fluent German and English language skills

Details of the role and how it fits into the team

Our core responsibility is to drive innovative transformation initiatives across Corporate Cash Management in order to deliver on strategic priorities. We collaborate across the bank and work cross-functionally, with a strong focus on data science projects for Corporate Cash Management enabling data-driven sales, improving process efficiency, and fostering product innovation.

Your key responsibilities

• Leverage Corporate Cash Management relevant data (i.e. payment and balance data) to drive insight creation and revenue opportunities for our global Cash Sales and Corporate Coverage Teams

• Lead the redesign and enhancement of processes in CCM and CCM’s business partners alongside other Stakeholders

• Create data-&-AI-based product innovation for Cash products

• Drive and execute the AI Strategy for Corporate Cash Management

Your skills and experiences

• Masters degree/PhD in Mathematics/IT/Physics/Statistics/Data Science or related fields

• Extensive mathematical understanding in Data Science related problems (i.e. optimization algorithms, vectorization problems)

• 3+ years of experience in building and shipping Machine Learning/Deep Learning models (in End-2-End) on large datasets

• Advanced proficiency in Python (lib.: Pandas, Numpy, Pytorch Sklearn) and SQL

• Ability to work in a high pace environment with strong can-do mentality

• Ability to explain technically complex topics to a non-technical audience

• Fluent German and English skills are required
