Role Overview

Our client have a unique opportunity for a Senior AV Project Manager to join their growing Project Delivery team. The Senior AV Project Manager will be tasked with delivering their customer’s complex projects in Workplace and will be responsible for the delivery of large AV system integration projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Delivery of large AV system integration projects into various general contractors on time, on budget and achieving high customer satisfaction from both our customer and the end user

• Quality assurance of CAD drawings and schematics, alongside other technical deliverables, also provide the ability expedite proceedings when necessary

• Hold overall responsibility for delivery of projects being delivered in Workplace

• Perform a lead role in owning, and developing a delivery capability in support of business expansion into the market

• Provide first line guidance and escalation support to other project managers delivering projects inside the workstream (this does not include line management responsibility)

• Managing the client relationship, including expectations, communications and satisfaction

• Provides clear leadership and ownership for the project within the organisation, including accurate and timely verbal and written communication and follow up

• Coordinates all activities associated with the timely, accurate and on-budget completion of the project, including engaging stakeholders, delegating responsibilities clearly and running client and internal project meetings

Essential Criteria:

• German speaking - Native or Bilingual

• Proven experience delivering large/complex AV projects

• In depth understanding of audio/video systems and their function/control

• Detailed understanding of CAD drawings and schematics

• Proven experience of working in commercial construction trades and environments, (Health & Safety aware).

• Commercially aware and able to interpret contracts.

• Experienced in the use of MS Office to support Finance, Change and Configuration Management activity

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Good people skills.

Desirable Criteria:

• Associates/Bachelor’s degree required and/or equivalent experience

• A recognised Project Management Qualification (PMI, Prince 2 Practitioner etc.)

• AVIXA CTS certification
