Senior Grid Connection Manager

​A leading international renewable energy company is seeking a Senior Grid Connection Manager to join its growing team in Germany. With a global portfolio exceeding 18GW, the business is a recognised leader in the development and operation of large-scale wind and solar energy projects worldwide. As part of its continued expansion in Germany, the company is building a strong pipeline of PV + BESS and stand-alone BESS projects and is now looking to strengthen its project delivery team with a key technical hire.The Senior Grid Connection Manager will play a critical role in supporting the grid connection process across a portfolio of utility-scale projects. Working closely with the wider project development team, this person will take ownership of the technical and electrical engineering aspects of grid connection, managing relationships and communication with TSOs and DSOs, and ensuring projects progress efficiently through key development milestones.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex technical challenges, and driving renewable energy projects toward successful delivery.Key responsibilities include:Leading the technical grid connection strategy for utility-scale renewable energy projectsManaging all electrical engineering aspects related to grid integrationActing as the key interface with TSOs, DSOs, and external technical stakeholdersSupporting project development teams to ensure timely project progressionIdentifying and mitigating technical risks throughout the development lifecycleIdeal profile:Strong experience in grid connection, electrical engineering, or technical project managementBackground in renewable energy, ideally within solar, BESS, or windStrong understanding of the German energy market and grid connection processesProactive, delivery-focused, and able to drive projects independentlyMinimum C1 German fluencyThis is a key hire within a highly respected international platform, offering strong long-term career growth within one of the most exciting areas of the energy transition.Discipline(s): Renewable Energy, Grid and StorageJob type: Permanent
