Job DescriptionRole - Lead ConsultantTechnology – Databricks Platform Support & Infrastructure OperationsLocation – GermanyCompensation – Competitive (including bonus)Job DescriptionHighly experienced professional with 10+ years of experience leading Databricks Platform Operations and transformation initiatives for enterprise clients. The candidate will drive the strategic roadmap to evolve traditional operating models into an AI-driven Agentic Ops framework, leveraging technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, LLMs, and AI Agents. The role is responsible for leading platform monitoring, operational excellence, automation, incident management, and service fulfillment initiatives across the Databricks ecosystem while serving as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating client requirements into scalable solutions and delivery plans. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Databricks platform operations, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), observability, governance, automation, and team leadership. Proven experience in managing large-scale transformation programs, defining operating models, and driving innovation through AI-powered operations is essential, along with strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and deliver strategic business outcomes.Required•Overall 10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, including leading Databricks Platform Operations, Managed Services, and enterprise transformation initiatives•Strong expertise in Databricks Platform Administration, Operations, Governance, Security, and Monitoring.•Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and automation frameworks.•Proven experience in Incident Management, Service Fulfillment, Operational Excellence, SRE, and ITIL-based support models.•Experience leading large-scale transformation programs and driving operational modernization initiatives.•Strong understanding of Data Lakehouse Architecture, Databricks Workspaces, Unity Catalog, Clusters, Jobs, and Access Management.•Ability to define operating models, delivery roadmaps, KPIs, SLAs, and governance frameworks for platform operations.•Excellent stakeholder management, client-facing communication, team leadership, and delivery management capabilities.•Experience developing automation solutions using Python, APIs, workflow orchestration, and self-healing mechanisms.•Understanding of cloud security, compliance, governance, FinOps, and enterprise architecture frameworks.Preferred•Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph and other AI Agents.•Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps/MLOps practices, and platform engineering concepts.•Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.•Relevant certifications in Databricks, AWS/Azure, ITIL, Agile, Solution Architecture, or Generative AI technologies.•Experience designing and implementing AI-driven Operations (AIOps) and autonomous support models.PersonalBesides the professional qualifications of the candidates we place great importance in addition to various forms personality profile.
